The sounds of some of our freshest local musicians are now available to anyone in the world as Kurruru launched its latest edition of Blak Traks on iTunes and a number of other digital music retailers.

The latest album, Blak Traks 2010 can now be listened to or even purchased from the comfort of anyone's computer or laptop.

“This is an exciting chance for the music of our young performers and artists to be heard around the world,” said Robert Champion, Kurruru’s Boys and Young Men’s Project Officer and coordinator of the Blak Traks 2010 release.

The online release of the album came only a week after its launch at the Tandanya Café on September 17 that featured performances from some of the young artists who contributed music to the recording.

The latest album includes work from young people living in regional towns across SA including Ceduna (Crossways Kids and Bronx Boys), Murray Bridge (U.G.B.) and Mimili (Mimili Band). The album also features some of Adelaide hottest independent artists including Rikki Wilson, Arron Lester, Jimblah (aka James Alberts) and Karnage and Darkness.

Blak Traks 2010 joins Kurruru’s two other CD releases Blak Traks 05 and Blak Traks 08 and all can be downloaded from iTunes in Australia, Japan, Europe, Canada and the United States.
